Community Housing is affordable urban rental accommodation, responsive to client needs, that is managed by not-for- profit organisations or local government. It includes crisis, transitional and long term housing services
The Department of Housing provides four main Community Housing programs:
- Community Housing Program
- Joint Venture Housing Program
- Community Disability Housing Program
- Crisis Accommodation Program
- SCHIP Program (PDF 135 kB)
Housing is provided according to the requirements of individuals with special attention to location, design and support needs.
