Community organisations receiving, or have previously recieved, assistance from the Department under any Program where the accommodation projects are still operating, are required to complete and return the Commonwealth Data Collection form, the WA Questionnaire, and if applicable, the Crisis Accommodation Program Data Collection form unless specifically excluded.
Excluded properties are those funded under the Public Rental Housing Program, State owned and managed Indigenous Housing Program, and Community housing dwellings not funded under the CSHA.
Crisis Accommodation Program providers will also need to complete the CAP Data Collection form.
The WA Questionnaire is to include all dwellings from all programs, regardless of source, provided through the Community Housing Branch.
The quality and quantity of data requested from community organisations has grown in recent years. A data collection manual is available to assist you in answering the questions you have been asked by the Commonwealth. This manual summarises the outline of the questionnaire and a definition of each question which will help you understand what information should be included and what should be excluded from each question. Please refer to this document when completing you questionnaire. Appreciation is expressed to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare for allowing the Department to place these documents on our web site.
