Community Competition

Clean and Healthy
Poster Competition

Poster Competition

The Clean and Healthy Poster Competition has been run since 1999 with great success. It is open to all Western Australian primary school students in the Kimberley, Pilbara, Midwest and Goldfields regions.

The competition aims to raise awareness among primary school students about the need for clean and healthy living environments and to encourage students to participate in initiatives to improve healthy living practices within their community.

To enter, we ask that students prepare an A4 or A3 poster based on what they believe a clean and healthy community to be. Schools will then judge all the entries and enter the 3 best designs per category (see below) into the competition.

Prizes

Up to three book packages will be available per school, within the following categories:

  • Best Design, Junior Primary (pre-primary and Grades 1 – 2)
  • Best Design, Middle Primary (Grades 3 – 5)
  • Best Design, Upper Primary (Grades 6 – 7)

Each entrant will receive a certificate of participation. The overall prize winner will win a new bicycle and a computer package for their school.

The next competition is to be launched in March 2007 and further details will be available on this website closer to this date.
