Social Housing Initiative Guidelines Element 1: New Construction The Social Housing Initiative comprises two elements. Element one provides funding for new construction while element two provides funding to support the repair of existing social housing dwellings. Housing Stimulus Briefing

The Department of Housing held a briefing on Thursday 19 February 2009 for builders and developers on Housing Stimulus Package 2009 and 2010. The attached document was made available, giving a breakdown of the 2,600 Priority Public Housing single or group home sites by location, both metropolitan and regional, and by dwelling type.
